Covid-19 – Clean & Safe
The World Health Organization has declared Coronavirus SARS-CoV2, the causal agent of COVID-19, an international public health emergency. To avoid risks and infections, ensuring the existence of an internal protocol that defines the necessary prevention, control and surveillance procedures, this establishment declares to comply with the requirements defined by Turismo de Portugal, in accordance with the guidelines of the General Directorate of Health, which allow to consider it a Clean & Safe Establishment.
Training for all employees
All Employees received specific information and/or training on:
o Internal protocol regarding the Covid-19 – Clean & Safe coronavirus outbreak.
o How to comply with basic infection prevention and control precautions for the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, including procedures:
o hand hygiene: wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that has at least 70º of alcohol, covering all surfaces of the hands and rubbing them until dry.
o respiratory etiquette: coughing or sneezing into the affected forearm or using a tissue, which must then be immediately thrown away; Always clean your hands after coughing or sneezing and after blowing your nose; Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
o social conduct: changing the frequency and form of contact between workers and between them and customers, avoiding (when possible) close contact, handshakes, kisses, shared workstations, face-to-face meetings and sharing of food, utensils , glasses and towels.
How to carry out daily self-monitoring for fever assessment (measure body temperature twice a day and record the measured value and time), check for cough or difficulty breathing.
How to comply with the guidelines of the General Health Department for cleaning surfaces and treating clothes in establishments.

The company has
Sufficient personal protective equipment for the workers involved in the activities.
Personal protective equipment available for customers (maximum group capacity).
Stock of single-use cleaning materials proportionate to their size, including single-use cleaning wipes moistened with disinfectant, bleach and 70º alcohol.
Alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution dispensers near entry/exit points, and whenever applicable by floor, at the entrance of the restaurant, bar and common restrooms.
Waste container with non-manual opening and plastic bag.
In the sanitary facilities, equipment for washing hands with liquid soap and paper towels.
The company ensures Clean & Safe protocol
Washing and disinfection, in accordance with the internal protocol, of the surfaces where employees and customers circulate, ensuring the control and prevention of Infections and resistance to antimicrobials.
Cleaning, several times a day, surfaces and objects in common use (including counters, light and elevator switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles).
Preference will be given to wet cleaning, to the detriment of dry cleaning and the use of a vacuum cleaner.
The air renewal of rooms and closed spaces is carried out regularly.
In the food and beverage areas, if any, the hygiene of utensils, equipment and surfaces is reinforced and the direct handling of food by customers and employees is avoided as much as possible.
The internal cleaning and sanitizing protocol guarantees compliance with the Clean & Safe protocol
The washing at high temperatures of clothing used in activities and other accessories made available (eg towels), by employees and customers (around 60°C).
Provision of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, whenever appropriate, to participants in activities.
Cleaning or disinfection of the equipment used, after each activity, in accordance with the rules applicable to each type of equipment.
Sanitation or disinfection of the means of transport used, after each activity, and in accordance with the rules applicable to each type of transport.
The service organization ensures
The maximum occupancy per m2 recommended by the General Directorate of Health, if activities are carried out indoors.
The maintenance of social safety distance between participants in activities, in accordance with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Health.
The maximum occupancy of the means of transport used in the activities, in accordance with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Health.
The distribution of information, within the scope of the activity, preferably in digital/online support.
Compliance with internal hygiene and safety protocols by partners involved in the activities.
That there is always an employee at the service responsible for triggering the procedures in case of suspected infection (accompanying the person with symptoms to the isolation space, providing the necessary assistance and contacting the national health service).
Decontamination of the isolation area whenever there are positive cases of infection and reinforcement of cleaning and disinfection whenever there are patients suspected of infection, especially on surfaces frequently handled and most used by the same, as indicated by the DGS.
The storage of waste produced by patients suspected of infection in a plastic bag which, after closed (eg with a clamp) must be segregated and sent to a licensed operator for the management of hospital waste with biological risk.
The submission of this declaration, valid until April 30, 2022, results from the commitment that all previously validated requirements are fully complied with by the Tourist Entertainment Company.
