The World Health Organization has declared the Coronavirus the causative agent of COVID-19 as a public health emergency of international scope. To avoid risks and infections, ensuring the existence of an internal protocol that defines the necessary prevention, control and surveillance procedures, this establishment declares to comply with the requirements defined by Turismo de Portugal, in accordance with the guidelines of the Directorate-General for Health, which allow us to consider it a Clean & Safe Establishment.

 

Training for all employees

All Employees received specific information and/or training on:

o    Internal protocol regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
o    How to comply with basic infection prevention and control precautions regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, including procedures:
o    hand hygiene: wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with at least 70º of alcohol, covering all surfaces of your hands and rubbing them until they are dry.
o    respiratory etiquette: coughing or sneezing into your flexed forearm or using a tissue, which must then be immediately thrown away; Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing and after blowing your nose; Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
o    social conduct: change the frequency and form of contact between workers and between them and customers, avoiding (when possible) close contact, handshakes, kisses, shared workstations, face-to-face meetings and sharing of food, utensils , cups and towels.

How to comply with daily self-monitoring to assess fever (measure body temperature twice a day and record the value and time of measurement), check for cough or difficulty in breathing.

How to comply with the guidelines of the General Health Directorate for cleaning surfaces and treating clothes in establishments in order to mitigate covid-19.

The company has

Personal protective equipment in sufficient numbers for workers involved in activities.

Personal protective equipment available for customers (maximum group capacity).

Stock of single-use cleaning materials proportional to their dimensions, including single-use cleaning wipes moistened with disinfectant, bleach and 70º alcohol.

Dispensers of alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution next to entry/exit points, and whenever applicable per floor, at the entrance to the restaurant, bar and common sanitary facilities.

Waste container with non-manual opening and plastic bag.

In the sanitary facilities, equipment for washing hands with liquid soap and paper towels.

The company ensures Clean & Safe protocol

Washing and disinfection, in accordance with the internal protocol, of the surfaces where employees and customers circulate, ensuring the control and prevention of Infections and resistance to antimicrobials.

Cleaning, several times a day, surfaces and objects in common use (including counters, light and elevator switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles).

Preference should be given to wet cleaning, to the detriment of dry cleaning and the use of a vacuum cleaner.

Air renewal in rooms and closed spaces is carried out regularly.

In the food and drink areas, if any, the hygiene of utensils, equipment and surfaces is reinforced and direct handling of food by customers and employees is avoided as much as possible.

A lavagem a temperaturas elevadas do vestuário usado nas atividades e outros acessórios disponibilizados (ex. toalhas), por parte dos colaboradores e dos clientes (cerca de 60ºC).

Fornecimento de higienizadores de mãos à base de álcool, sempre que se justifique, aos participantes nas atividades.

Higienização ou desinfeção dos equipamentos utilizados, após cada atividade, de acordo com as regras aplicáveis a cada tipo de equipamento.

Higienização ou desinfeção dos meios de transporte utilizados, após cada atividade, e de acordo com as regras aplicáveis a cada tipo de transporte.

 

The service organization ensures

The maximum occupancy per m2 recommended by the General Directorate of Health, in the case of activities carried out in closed spaces.

Maintaining a safe social distance between participants in activities, in accordance with the recommendations of the General Health Directorate.

The maximum occupancy of the means of transport used in the activities, in accordance with the recommendations of the General Health Directorate.

The distribution of information, within the scope of the activity, preferably in digital/online support.

Compliance with internal hygiene and safety protocols by partners involved in activities.

That there is always an employee at the service responsible for triggering the procedures in case of suspected infection (accompanying the person with symptoms to the isolation space, providing the necessary assistance and contacting the national health service).

Decontamination of the isolation area whenever there are positive cases of covid-19 infection and reinforcement of cleaning and disinfection whenever there are patients suspected of covid-19 infection, mainly on surfaces frequently handled and most used by the same, as indicated by the DGS.

The storage of waste produced by patients suspected of infection in a plastic bag which, after being closed, must be segregated and sent to a licensed operator for the management of hospital waste with biological risk.

The submission of this declaration, valid until April 30, 2021-2022, stems from the commitment that all previously validated requirements are fully complied with by the Tourist Animation Company.
